Rich deep green natural Chrome Diopside (1.14ct, VS, Russia) hand set in 925 sterling silver on a sterling silver chain. This beautiful deep green gemstone is mined under extreme conditions. Found in a mine above the artic circle in Siberia, mining can only be done in the 3 summer months, as these are the only month the temperature rises above freezing. The rest of the year it's just to cold. Adding tothe extreme weather conditions, the mines owner recently passed away, this has left the future of the mine undecided.
